From the Mountains to the Sea

The book is a collection of poems and photographs inspired by this beautiful yet often forgotten corner of south-west Scotland. Around half of the poems have been previously published in various anthologies, poetry magazines and online with Poetry Scotland’s Open Mouse and StAnza’s Map of Scotland. All proceeds from the sale will go to the charity Versus Arthritis.

Anne Dunford

Anne Dunford spent her working life teaching and later training with a literacy project in Yorkshire.
Since moving to Wigtownshire in 2002, she has been able to give more time to her writing. She read with Jackie Kay in Poetry Doubles 2005 and five of her short plays have been performed at the Swallow Theatre near Whithorn.
Her poems have been published in various poetry magazines and anthologies including The Dawn Treader, Poetry Scotland’s Open Mouse and Heart Shoots published by Indigo Dreams.
