Into the Light is the second publication by writer Linda Menzies, following on from the poetry collection Epiphanies published in 2009. Into the Light is a collection of poetry and short stories, with images, scrutinising themes of family, relationships and the changing world of the 21st century and moves from darker topics of poverty and self-harm through to more optimistic themes. It charts a new journey along life’s road, tackling universal themes of family, relationships- those which work and those which don’t- love, despair, illness, life and death as well as observing the changing world of the 21st century. The themes move from darker topics though to lighter and more optimistic subjects, reflecting the title, Into the Light.
The book is on sale from outlets including WordPower, Reading Lasses and Amazon.
