Chaired by Jenni Fagan, this session is led by the Scottish PEN Writers at Risk Committee who works on behalf of persecuted and imprisoned writers all over the world. In this event, our Festival authors read from the works of some of those writers.

Reading: Maimouna Jallow, L J MacWhirter, Chitra Nagarajan and Suria Tei, who will read Liu Xia and Liu Xiaobo’s work in Mandarin Chinese and English.
