What is peace in our divided time? How can we gain it? And what part can our writers play in offering us hope for the future? To answer these questions and to share readings about peace in our time we are bringing together four writers at Project Cafe in Glasgow on 11th September 2018

Four authors come together to read about peace in our time:

Jenni Calder writes on literary and historical subjects and is an active member of Sottish PEN. A revised edition of The Nine Lives of Naomi Mitchison is due out early in 2019.

Tracy Patrick is a writer and performer from Paisley. Her poetry pamphlet is titled Wild Eye Fire Eye.

Graham Fulton is from Paisley. He has been published extensively in Europe and the USA in magazines, anthologies and online journals. New books are forthcoming from Pindrop Press and Smokestack Books.

David Manderson is an academic and a writer of novels, short stories, non-fiction, screenplays and poetry. He is the chair of the Scottish PEN Writers for Peace committee.
