In conjunction with Scottish PEN, IASH is hosting a one-day symposium to mark International Women’s Day, exploring in fiction and fact women’s experiences on the edge geographically, socially, emotionally.
Women writers Linda Cracknell, Sara Maitland, Denise Mina, Cynthia Rogerson, Jenni Fagan and Elizabeth Reeder will talk about their work in the light of the theme and will give readings from their texts, as well as entering into discussion with the audience.
The event is free but registration is essential as space is limited.
