October 16, 2023On the 16th of October 2016, at 2.35 in the afternoon, Daphne Caruana Galizia made her last ever blog post. She wrote, “There are crooks everywhere you look now. The situation is desperate.” Less than 30 minutes later Daphne Caruana Galizia was assassinated. A car bomb was remotely detonated as she was driving from her home.
